What NextMove holds about you today
- —Your email address and your password, stored hashed rather than as you typed it.
- —The company names you choose to track, and the record matches NextMove has already emailed you about.
- —A session cookie, so that you stay signed in.
- —Nothing else. NextMove collects no payment details anywhere in the product, and the emails it sends carry no tracking pixel and no wrapped links — nothing reports back that a message was opened or a link followed.
A watchlist is not a neutral list of companies. It names your employer, or the employers you are worried about, at a moment you may not want known. Treat it as sensitive, because it is: until a reviewed policy exists, no retention period, deletion guarantee or processor list has been committed to. If you want your account and everything on it removed, write to the address below and say so.
